If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contract Ryan Darby at rdarby@actionlife.com.

Cornerstone January 2025 Newsletter

Hello all,

Please see the following to review a few items outlined in the Associations January 2025 Newsletter. Please note that the full newsletter is available digitally in your Resident Portal.

POOL AREA UPDATE:

The majority of the renovations have been completed, and the pool area is scheduled to reopen on February 1, 2025. Please note that the pool will be closed again while the needed wrought iron repairs and painting are completed. Further details on the timeline for closure will be provided. The new pool lounge chairs, tables and table chairs will be installed prior to the pool area’s reopening.

COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS

The Association continues to search for volunteers for the Architectural Committee (Design Review Committee).  If you are interested in volunteering for this committee or want to learn more, please reach out to Management via email at aburdick@actionlife.com. As a part of this Committee, you will work with other Committee Members to review Architectural Applications and make decisions in line with the requirements of the CC&Rs. This Committee does not come with a significant time commitment and architectural application reviews take place digitally.

GARAGE INSPECTIONS

For those that hold a permanent safelist for a 3rd vehicle, the Association requires the process be renewed on a recurring basis. With that said, Management will send those that currently hold a permanent safelist for a 3rd vehicle a letter with further steps to be taken in March of 2025. It is important to have the inspection conducted as we want to ensure that the information is correct for the vehicles parked in the garage and the vehicle parked outside. Specifically, you will have to resubmit your vehicle registrations and will need to complete a garage inspection.

NOTICE OF PAVER RESTORATION

The Cornerstone Homeowners Association has approved a paver restoration project with 24HRC, scheduled to begin on Monday, November 4, 2024. The project will take approximately five working days, with work taking place daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. During this time, there will be temporary closures in the courtyards, as outlined below:

Courtyard Closure Schedule:

  • Day 1 (Purple): Yorkshire, Rutland, & Nottingham – Closed from 8:00 AM on November 4, 2024, until 8:00 AM on November 5, 2024.
  • Day 2 (Orange): Somerset, Plymouth, Norfolk, & Newton – Closed from 8:00 AM on November 5, 2024, until 8:00 AM on November 6, 2024.
  • Day 3 (Green): Nelson, Hampshire, Elswick, Devon, & Bristol – Closed from 8:00 AM on November 6, 2024, until 8:00 AM on November 7, 2024.
    Please note:
When parking outside overnight from Wednesday evening into Thursday morning, do not park at a green curb. This will ensure that other residents can place their trash bins at the curb on Wednesday evening for collection.
  • Day 4 (Blue): Bainbridge, Bradford, Cheshire, & Berkshire* – Closed from 8:00 AM on November 11, 2024, until 8:00 AM on November 12, 2024.
  • Day 5 (Red): Dunham, Hallington, & Lancaster – Closed from 8:00 AM on November 12, 2024, until 8:00 AM on November 13, 2024.

*  Berkshire Court Residents:
Berkshire Court will have special power washing taking place from November 4 to November 6. However, this will not impact your ability to drive on the pavers during those days. The only restriction will be on November 11, which is your assigned sealing day, when vehicles will not be permitted on the pavers from 8:00 AM that day until 8:00 AM the following morning.

Important Reminders:

  • All items must be removed from the pavers by Sunday, November 3, 2024.
  • Any items left on the pavers may result in additional charges for remobilization.
  • The 24HRC team will be identifiable by their uniforms and company logo.
